Last game of the season knowing the job has already been done but we have a reputation to keep up , we havent lost since December 18th , but more importantly we havent lost at home so not to get complacent on such a big pitch , we started slowly taking longer to adapt to the size and the playing conditions although we always looked in controll limiting the opositions chances to next to nothing, with it being a big pitch I had already decided to give 5 mins rest time which I believe worked as Leighton players got tired. The last 7 mins of the first half just showed the progress made passing the ball around causing leighton to run in circles at times probably deserved a goal at this point but we kept aiming at the keeper, after half time team talk you all come out very positive and it was only a matter of time before we scored with a nice through ball for Lewis to run on to and gently push past the keeper into the goal , at this point Ithought the flood gates were going to open but with there keeper making some fine stops this wasn't to be but keeping them camped in there half for near on the entire game was great. Danny did how ever make one stop comming out and shutting down there top scorer thus giving us the opotunity to attack again resulting in a run and shot from Joe to seal the victory and finnish on a high. Undefeated in 2012 so far fantastic great game and well deserved , very much looking forward to next season . Thanks to all the boys and there parents for making this a memorable season .
